yumin says hello to joint dance concert :)

hello to the stage, my long lost friend. hahaha.

usual dance class today and i almost died coz i lost all my stamina from the exams and all the rotting at home. hahaha.. but i did my best and guess what?

i was one of the first 3 to get selected for jdc! hahahaha :D

i think i would be quite disappointed if i wasn't chosen actually.. coz it was still some kind of recognition by the instructor :)

in fact i was quite surprised coz the other 2 girls she picked were really damn good and she even knew their names. haha she didn't know mine coz i joined the club not too long ago.. she said she wants to choose people who she thinks can bring out her choreography well coz she wants to show the audience that ntu contemp dance is good! well, that made me really happy coz at least i feel that i worth something to her :) this feels like a second miracle to me, with chingay being the first. hahaha. i think she will still include more dancers in the choreography later on, and getting selected first doesn't mean that i will stay on stage forever but still, i'm going on stage! :D the dance genre is more of jazz.. quite a challenge to me :)

these "miracles" may not seem like any big deal to some people, but to me i think they are really significant coz back in jc, i was treated like some kind of backup dancer.. life then was pathetic coz it was either i didn't even get a chance to perform or i was only asked to perform for a mini mini part and most of the time my positions were right at the back.. i didn't even think the instructors or even some of my fellow dancers bothered to look at me.

i'm afraid i can't live up to my instructor's expectations now, but i shall try my best coz i don't want her to regret having chosen me! :)

we'll be dancing again tmr, hope nothing goes wrong :D
